European National Meet

The European Meet in Raalte, Netherlands is shaping up to be a memorable event. As each year, many of our AMCA members from the U.S. will travel to Europe to participate in this year's National. I"m sure this will be a partial list, but as we know it, Rodney and Rosie Sterling of the Cherokee Chapter, Marc Gallin (AMCA Instagram and YouTube Moderator) and his wife Patricia Spivey, Keith and Debbie Kizer will all be on hand at this year's event.
In this photo are two of the hardest working women in Europe at recruiting AMCA members; our Director/Country Representative Germany/Italy for the AMCA European Chapter, Claudia Krause and our Ambassador to Spain, Carolina Sales Martorell. Claudia handles all our in person and phone membership renewals to our non-English speaking members, or those who prefer not paying online. She is a valuable volunteer for the club.
One of the highlights of the event will be to honor Steve Slocombe, current and outgoing President and Founder of the European Chapter from 2001. Steve has served as an AMCA Board Member from 2006-2011 and as AMCA Chief Judge in 2023. At this years Banquet, Steve will be stepping down as the President and handing the rains over to Cees Visser. Steve will stay active as the chapter's Newletter Editor.
We hope to see more Americans at the event but more importantly AMCA members from numerous countries across Europe. Look for a meet report soon.
