AMCA Membership Sweepstakes Rules
Overview: The AMCA Membership Sweepstakes is open from May 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022 to active primary AMCA members. Every time a new AMCA member—either brand-new to the Club or someone who hasn’t been a member for at least 1½ years—gives us your name as their referring member, you’ll be automatically entered in the Sweepstakes.
AMCA Chapters will compete for Free Memberships. This year we are separating the Chapters who host National Meets from all the other Chapters as a separate contest. The National hosting Chapters (19) will compete head-to-head and the other (63) Chapters will compete in their own contest.
In the Chapter contest, we will tabulate every new member who lists a referring Chapter. The Chapter that has the most referrals will receive 10 free AMCA memberships, while the second-place Chapter will get seven and the third-place Chapter will get five free memberships. Chapters can use these free memberships as an incentive to recruit more new members of their local Chapter, or as a reward for their hardest-working volunteers.

Referrals from the above-mentioned events are to be listed under individual Chapters and not Coalitions. Agreement to Official Rules: Participation in the sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
Sweepstakes period: The AMCA Membership Sweepstakes is open from May 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
How to enter: Every time a new AMCA member—either brand-new to the Club or someone who hasn’t been a member for at least 1½ years—gives us your name as their referring member, you’ll will receive one (1) automatic entry in the Membership Sweepstakes. Each new member who joins the AMCA for two years, the referring member will receive two (2) entries and three (3) entries for a three-year membership. Via Reference Card: Participants will use the Invitation Cards included in three issues of the magazine to help in their recruitment efforts. Just tear out the cards, fill in your personal information as the recruiting member and stuff them in your wallet. Then, when you run into someone who loves old bikes, you can say, “Have you ever thought about joining the AMCA?” and hand them a card. Better yet, pull out your cellphone, dial the toll-free number and get them signed up right on the spot! Just like that, you’ll be one step closer to helping the AMCA grow, and maybe winning yourself some great prizes! Via Mail: The method of mail-in entry will be available for the entire sweepstakes period. On a 3×5 card, handprint your full name, complete address, phone number (including area code), email address, and AMCA membership number and mail in an envelope with proper postage affixed to: AMCA Sweepstakes - Official Entry, 110 Lake Ave. S, Suite 44, Nesconset, NY 11767. Only a valid, official mail-in entry form will be accepted (no duplicates or photocopies). All requests must be postmarked by December 10, 2022 and received by December 31, 2022. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per member.
Odds: The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The best part is that you can improve your odds of winning by recruiting more members and encouraging them to join for two or three years. Get five new members to join between now and December 31, and that equals 5 to 15 Sweepstakes entries. Ten new members earns you 10 to 30 entries, and so on.

The first name drawn will be the Grand Prize Winner, the second name drawn will be the 2nd Place Winner and the 3rd name drawn will be the 3rd Place Winner. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner via telephone or email.
