At AMCA we do not claim to be a lobbyist group, but we do have a responsibility to our members to make them aware of Government or Environmental issue that could affect our motorcycles or the roads we ride them on. You know, see something, say something.

In the bi-monthly newsletter, we have a column called Global Protection. It is for the use and enjoyment of our vehicles, and culture. From time to time we will repost articles of significance on this page.

If you hear something that other members should be aware of, please pass along the information and we can hopefully post it here too. Members have expressed that they want to be informed. As an organization, we do follow on a regular bases and are members of several global think tanks and organizations whose main objective is protecting our rights as motorcycles.

Some of those include but not limited to the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), Fédération International des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA), Historic Vehicle Association (HVA), and Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA).

Own a Classic Bike? Better Check Your Tax Bill
Fellow member and contributor, Allan Johnson recently sent us the following story about taxes. Written by Ride-CT Publisher, Bud Wilkerson who frequently covers AMCA events. The topic was related to residents of Connecticut but worth passing along to all AMCA members to look into your county's property tax assessment. You could save money.
