AMCA Members to Highlight the 2024 Americade
May 28 - June 1   Lake George, New York

Americade has invited the AMCA back for 2024. AMCA Members are being giving the opportunity to display and showcase their antique motorcycle(s) in the AMCA Vintage Garage.


The Antique Motorcycle Club of America would like to foster interest in its club, the machines, and the sport. The Americade is offering AMCA members the opportunity to showcase their motorcycles and the club at this year’s 41st Americade in Lake George, New York.

Members of the AMCA are being invited to showcase their motorcycles and explain the benefits of club membership. AMCA participants will receive free entry for themselves and their spouses to many events. Awards and people’s choice judging will be included. Come join the fun and let your piece of motorcycle history be seen and appreciated.

About Americade: Americade attracts serious motorcycle riders and passengers along with their family and friends. It’s a family-oriented event that couples and young children are attracted to throughout the week. Most of the many serious tourers arrive Monday or Tuesday of Americade Week and stay for the duration to take part in the multitude of rides and events tailored specifically to them.

Here are some of the details:
     ● Registration MUST be completed by May 10th for the free package.
     ● The Vintage Display area is located at Americade’s Expo.
     ● The display area is a professionally installed and anchored tent with sidewalls.
     ● The tent provides 24/7 paid security and weather protection from Tuesday, immediately prior to Americade through Sunday, Immediately following Americade.       
     ● Only 25-30 motorcycles will be able to take advantage of this. First come, first serve.
     ● AMCA members will be responsible for placing their motorcycles in the secured, and covered area.
     ● All participants and spouses will receive passes to events, rides, and dinners ( if registration is completed by May 10th) :
 
➢ Motorcycle(s) Displayed = 1 All In Package for 2 people, including week-long passes for the Americade HQ (factory demos, shows, rider education), all week access to the Americade Expo (200,000+ sq. feet of vendors), access to the Friday Night Spectacular Celebration
(awards, music, fireworks), and a choice of a guided or unguided ride, and a Friday Night Fireworks boat cruise on Lake George. AMCA participants and their spouses will receive event t-shirts & 2 comedy show tickets for the very popular and always sold-out Saturday

● There will be bike show space and all of the vintage bikes are automatically entered into the
judging, with several plaques including Vintage Best of Show and Vintage People’s Choice to be
announced Friday at the Awards Ceremony.
● Loading and unloading from trailers will be allowed on the Tuesday immediately prior to
Americade (all day) and on the Sunday immediately after Americade after 2 pm. Tow vehicle and
trailer parking will be available.
● A minimum of 2 blocks of 3 hours of volunteering time is required for staffing the display.
● Motorcycle(s) must stay on display for the duration of the event.
● Participants are allowed to use their motorcycle during the week as long as it is returned to the
display.
● We encourage a starting of the engines (at least one engine please) at noon each day in the expo
(Wed-Sat).
● A featured moment for Americade is the “Vintage Bikes Roar” at the Friday Night Spectacular at
7:00 pm in the Big Top Tent in the Expo. We ask that at least 4 vintage motorcycles ride into the
tent for us to “stop the show” and enjoy them for approximately 15 min.

The AMCA members will have until May 1st to secure enough commitments to fill the available space of
20 motorcycles. The AMCA will also have a presence at the Vintage Display. The AMCA will furnish its
own banners, signs, placards, etc. Restroom facilities are available within 400 feet. Food and lodging ar e
available immediately nearby, but it’s not too early to begin planning and make reservations.

Please encourage your members who are motivated to recruit for t he club and showcase their bikes to
visit Americade.com to gain an understanding of the scale of this event.
